Background

Dr. Serge Mattar has over 9 years of experience in leading fertility centers across Canada, Qatar, Oman, Lebanon, and the UAE. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. After earning his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the American University of Beirut, Dr. Mattar completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the same institution. He later pursued an accredited fellowship at the University of Montreal, Canada, obtaining a Diplôme d’Études Spécialisées (D.E.S.) in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility.

In addition to his clinical and surgical expertise, Dr. Serge has a strong academic background. He was appointed as a clinical instructor at the University of Montreal’s Medical School and is actively involved in research, with multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals. He has also presented his work at esteemed international conferences. Furthermore, he has driven research and innovation in the groups he worked with, integrating cutting-edge techniques in linical practice, like artificial intelligence, and establishing the first ovarian tissue cryopreservation program in the region.
