Background

Dr. Ritu Anand is a highly experienced Specialist in Reproductive Medicine and Infertility, bringing over 20 years of medical experience, including more than 13 years of focused IVF and fertility practice, to her current role at Orchid Fertility. Since beginning her dedicated IVF journey in 2011, Dr. Ritu has worked across prominent fertility centers in both India and the UAE, consistently handling a wide range of complex fertility cases with exceptional outcomes.

She currently serves at Orchid Fertility, where she continues her mission of helping couples achieve their dream of parenthood through advanced fertility care. Her extensive clinical background, including thousands of IVF consultations, oocyte retrievals, embryo transfers, and ultrasound-guided procedures, is complemented by a deeply compassionate and personalized approach to patient care. Prior to joining Orchid, Dr. Ritu held key clinical positions at Fakih IVF, Jumeirah 1 (2021–2025) and Dr. Husnia Gargash Fertility Center, Sharjah (2018–2021). In both roles, she actively managed difficult cases, including poor ovarian responders, recurrent implantation failure, male factor infertility, and advanced maternal age.

Her earlier work in India involved significant leadership roles, notably as Head of the IVF unit at Ridge Fertility & IVF Centre, Panipat, and as a Fellow in Reproductive Medicine at Madras Medical Mission – where she trained under the esteemed Dr. Thankam Rama Varma.

Academically, Dr. Ritu topped her Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine at MGR University, Tamil Nadu. She also holds an MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the prestigious Christian Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana, and an MBBS from Dr. Panjabrao Alias Bhausaheb Memorial Medical College, Amravati. To enhance her diagnostic acumen, she completed advanced ultrasound training in New Delhi and regularly attends national and international fertility congresses as a speaker and contributor.
